The Lady and The Unicorn Wall Hangings
The Lady and the Unicorn is a collection of six tapestries dating from around 1500 AD. Five of the tapestries are considered to depict the five senses of smell, taste, touch, hearing and sight.
Each picture depicts a noble lady in the centre with a unicorn on her left and a lion on her right. Other animals are also shown, including a monkey in some scenes. The artwork currently resides in the Thermes de Cluny in Paris.
